RED BULL BCONE 2007
THE DJ/PRODUCER OF CHOICE
Four years ago the concept of Red Bull BCONE was launched. In a nutshell it is a competitive global break-dancing event of the highest standards. The difference with BCONE to other competitions is that it focus’s on Individual B-Boys and not crew representation. This difference has led the Red Bull BCONE becoming the most sort-after trophy in the world of Break Dancing
As the one Break Dance event that stands out from the rest, The Red Bull International BCONE Break Dancing Competition is held at a different location across the globe each year. The previous locations have taken the art from Switzerland to Germany to Brazil. This year South Africa has been selected to host this prestigious event.
Music obviously goes hand in hand with Breaking as the soundtrack and guide to the moves performed. To date the music at the Final Event has been a selection of traditional well known funk, breaks, and hip hop. This year things are going to be done a little differently.
South African Beat Composer and DJ, Sibot has drawn the attention of Red Bull locally and internationally for the past few years as a Producer and DJ of rare and exceptional talent. An accomplished artist in his own right Sibot has become known through his solo work and collaborative projects such as The Real Estate Agents, Max Normal, and Closet Snare. It is through his solo releases and some of these projects that his tracks have been used in various Red Bull Events and Productions to date such as BCONE 2006, Big Wave, X – Fighters and The Red Bull Music Academy.

the importance of water, we have chosen “The Sacredness of Water” as our
